Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her greatest roles are the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the thriller Precious. As a child living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother who also loved watching movies. Paula was active in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school productions. The student decided to be an actor. She was part of The University of Southern Calif's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began becoming an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. The work was enjoyable, but she still wanted to be an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor role on the movie romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies as well as TV shows.
