Rhona Mitra

Mitra was the live-action version of Lara Croft in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider videogame series. Angelina Jolie assumed the role in the Tomb Raider films (2001 to 2003). Mitra was ranked at. 46 in Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2000. She was Christopher Lambert's romantic partner in Beowulf. Her first big role was as Scott Wolf's nefarious love interest in Party of Five. Mitra was a minor character in Hollow Man, a film about a neighbor who is brutally murdered and raped by Kevin Bacon. She played the lead role in the medical drama Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. Then, Mitra had roles in Ali G Indahouse's Sweet Home Alabama, Stuck on You and Stuck on You, as well as leading roles in Highwaymen, Spartacus, and in the film "The The Practice". Mitra played Tara Wilson in The Practice's final season. She continued to play her role in the spin-off Boston Legal, but was not able to keep the role beyond the end of season 2. Mitra was the third season's Kit McGraw role on Nip/Tuck in 2005. Following that, Mitra appeared in Skinwalkers, The Number 23 & Shooter. In 2008, Mitra played the role of Major Eden Sinclair in the science-fiction/action film Doomsday. She was sometimes misidentified in databases as Caryn Peterson. In 2009, Mitra stars in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Sonja is the daughter of the powerful vampire older Viktor (played in the role by Bill Nighy). While filming, she became attracted to her vampire fangs and even refused to take them off the fangs when they were not visible. "I set the fangs up the very first day. I thought it was strange that they were there. Therefore, I kept them in throughout the duration of shooting, all through my dialogue as well as everything else." Stargate Universe also included the actress in three episodes.
